So I could rather understand if one complains in the "opposite way", something like: "hey, there is no check on same/incorrect values in the grid!" :) The only check on correct values is done at the END of the game, when the grid is full, otherwise all inputs on an incomplete grid is considered "temporary" and not to check. You can freely input any value in any cell, obviously not on given values: you can change the value on cells at any time and no matter if you enter a wrong value on a cell, even if you already have that value on the same box / row / column.
