There seems to be no way to enter a correct number if you happen to enter another one in error.

Elbie:
You can freely input any value in any cell, obviously not on given values: you can change the value on cells at any time and no matter if you enter a wrong value on a cell, even if you already have that value on the same box / row / column. So I could rather understand if one complains in the "opposite way", something like: "hey, there is no check on same/incorrect values in the grid!" :)
The only check on correct values is done at the END of the game, when the grid is full, otherwise all inputs on an incomplete grid is considered "temporary" and not to check.

Is there any way to make the timer pause. I like to know how long it takes me sometimes but (for the bigger, longer puzzles this is particularly a problem) I can't leave the puzzle for a couple of minutes if I want to.

Hi NR, of course you can Pause the game: just click on the Timer itself, it will freeze time and game grid will be hidden, revealing the background image, in case you're interested in viewing it as well eheh.
Here is the how to play sudoku page in case you need to know about other game features (i.e. using the mouse-wheel to select values or simply hide the background...).

there appears to be a malfunction on the 25x25 games with the keys. Not with all, but A - I all appear as different letters, making it impossible to play the game! Can you fix?
