Nee and Barbara,
those are both excellent suggestions.
So, providing a "printable version" and a "save" functions.
Thanks to both.

Love your site and puzzles.

I do the huge (25x25)-hard all the time, cutting and pasting into word, then cropping and resizing and printing. My comment/suggestion is that if you could put the puzzle date in the background, next to the "Given cells" or next to the version at the bottom, that would save the user the task of putting the date on it themselves. When you prepare more than 1, as I do before traveling, you need the date to keep them straight.

Thanks!

It would be great if there was a way to save your progress and then be able to return to the puzzle later. Some of these big puzzles can take me a really long time to do, and it would be nice if I could continue later, or save my progress before my computer freezes, etc.

Oh yes Howard, I think it requested your confirmation to load the pictures (external to Java applet). Uhm I think it's also time to change the background images set ;)

Hi, Hera, 'sme again. Never mind what I said about Sudoku not loading. My stupid PC's Java was requesting permission to load (!) and I didn't notice the request. (Damn Norton Security.)

I like this website, but I refuse to use it on days that there are pictures of somewhat naked women in the advertisements....

I can do the Hard 9x9 quite quickly. The Easy setting on 25x25 is too easy to be interesting to me. But the Hard 25x25 is something that I can never finish. Could you make it a little bit easier? Is this something other solvers think? The Independent in Britain publishes a 25x25 each week which takes about 2 hrs to solve - that level I think is about right for an online version.
